First Post of the New Year!

It has been quite some time since I've posted anything. It's been a whirlwind around here with family, friends and staying ultra busy at work - trying to wrap things up before I leave and find a replacement EA (we have 2 including myself). I've acquired that position's duties in the interim and am SWAMPED!

Christmas was great, since we were able to visit both sides of the family (they're all in Texas now) and then the New Year has come in full force!

I need to download the pictures from last week's shower that was thrown by Dustin's Aunts and Cousin. We had a great time and have been overwhelmed with everyone's generousity toward and excitement about little Ashton!

We have the final shower this weekend that is being thrown by my side of the family and I will get to see some dear friends from the past! That's so fun!

Dustin and I started our Prepared Childbirth class last night and probably won't make it through to the last class, since it was supposed to end on Feb. 7 (and our due date is Feb 6.), but will now end on February 14 - due to the Jan 17th class being rescheduled. For some reason I thought that it might not be that informative, but I did learn a few things last night and hope to at the next class as well.

To all the newly pregnant ladies at RE: Sign up for classes NOW if you plan on taking any of them. They fill up at the hospitals SO fast. That is why we are just now taking this class :).

Ashton should be here within four weeks and I still don't feel "prepared" enough, but I know things will naturally come and some other things will be trial and error - you live, you learn.

Well - I have to get back to work and end lunch now.

I hope everyone is doing well!

Our childbirth class was very informative, but I don't think you can ever feel completely ready. But it is an extremely exciting process!

That's good advice, Christina, thanks!
