On the Friday before Thanksgiving we received news from several co-workers. Clinton's dad had a stroke as did Barry's dad. Clinton's dad is recovering which is good because Clinton lost his mother about 5 months ago, but Barry's dad ended up passing away on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. That same Friday, my friend Sandy, let us know that she has multiple cancer spots including a mass that was removed from one of her ovaries, a larger one on the other ovary and then some in her lymph nodes and other smaller ones in her body after being breast cancer free for the past 2 years. The doctors are not sure if it is breast cancer that has spread to the rest of her body. There is one more to pray for, Nancy. Her husband is terminally ill with cancer as well and has been battling it for the past 3 months or so with chemo, alternative medicines and anything he could try to stay alive. The doctors have told him that nothing really will work at this point and have given him the next month to live. He does not believe in God, so I'm sure that's the reason he's been fighting so hard to stay alive. They have a son that is a Freshman in college and a teenage daughter that is in the 10th grade.
It seems like so much all at the same time. Please keep them in your prayers.

I will definitely be praying. So sorry for all you are going though.
That is an awful lot to deal with at once. I will pray too.
What a comfort to your friends to know that you believe in the power of prayer. May they all feel the peace that only God can give.
Will be praying for them and for you.
